By registering on, accessing, or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website.

2. Description of Services

The Website provides a platform for booking group English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring sessions through a monthly events calendar (“the Services”). Tutors and learners can view and register for available group sessions. The minimum group session has 3 learners.

3. User Registration

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to register for and use the Services.
• Account Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Booking and Payment

• Booking: Sessions are booked through the monthly events calendar. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Payment: Payment for sessions must be made in advance through the Website. All payments are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms.
• Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to receive a credit for a future session. No refunds or credits will be given for late cancellations or no-shows.

5. Code of Conduct

• Respectful Behavior: Users must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner, at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Preparation: All users must have their questions and notes ready before starting any Tutoring session.
• Participation: Users are expected to actively participate in group sessions, ask questions, take notes and to complete any pre-session work or assignments.
• Learning Materials: Learners are responsible for providing their own material for each session.
• Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any illegal or unauthorized activities on the Website, including but not limited to hacking, spamming, or distributing malware.
• Contact Info: Users are forbidden to accept or give out their personal or business contact information to the Tutors, before, during, or after any session, under any circumstances.

6. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Latican and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• No Warranty: The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• No Guarantee : The Company does not guarantee language learning outcomes nor desired results in any external examinations that the learner may sit after having received the Company’s services.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latican will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the Services; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Services; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Services by any third party; (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Services; and/or (vi) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
